PREP: Bellevue 5150 2017

The Bellevue 5150 Bohol is definitely one of my favorite races of all time. It has this calm and relaxed vibe that’s a great way to cap off the racing season. The size of the race, the venue, the course, and the timeframe is a perfect “racecation” if ever there was one. One of the smaller races of the Sunrise calendar, it lends itself to a close and intimate atmosphere that is well suited to Panglao.

PREP: Ironman 70.3 Cebu

The Cobra Ironman 70.3 in Cebu is no different from the course last year. This isn’t because of a lack of interest from the organizers to keep it interesting but simply because “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” The course went through several iterations over the past 6 years and this has been the layout that works best.

PREP: Regent 5150 2017

One of the most awaited races of the year just went through a major revamp. This year’s Regent 5150 will have significant changes to the swim, bike, and run courses; don’t fret because we will discuss everything in detail in this edition of Practical Race Execution Preview powered by Sante Barley!

PREP: Durianman 2017 Recap

If you want a refreshingly unique kind of race, Durianman is perfect for you.
While I have nothing against all the races in Subic bay (Disclaimer: I love racing there because of course familiarity, organization, and convenience), sometimes, it’s nice to break out of the norm and try something different. Durianman is a race that’s both comfortable yet challenging, unique yet familiar, exotic yet close to home.
